From Tushi Palace to Tongming Palace, outside the Lingxiao Palace, no immortal can stop Sun Wukong.
This time, the monkey king is not up and down, so that the iron rod fights the enemy in the east and west, and there is no god to stop it. Only hit into the Tongming Palace, outside the Lingxiao Palace.
It wasn't until Yousheng Zhenjun's assistant envoy Wang Lingguan came that he took out the golden whip and stopped Sun Wukong, and later, Yousheng Zhenjun transferred the thirty-six generals of the Lei Department to besiege Sun Wukong. "Heavenly Court Immortals Release Water Theory", this view was very popular in the early years. However, whether from the point of view of the strength of the heavenly immortals or from the intention of this part of the author, it can be proved that this statement is not true.
Judging from the strength of the Heavenly Court Immortals, their strength is not enough to release water on Sun Wukong.
Many people think that the heavenly immortals have very high skills, they can fight, they all have high mana, and they all have very powerful magic weapons. These immortals must be very easy to deal with Sun Wukong.
But in fact, no, in terms of strength, there are at least three aspects to discuss, namely, heads-up strength (melee ability), mana strength and magic weapon strength.
However, the immortals obviously do not all have these three strengths. Many immortals don't know melee combat at all, they belong to the Wen immortals, such as Taishang Laojun, he won't fight.

The Imperial Horse Supervisor, which corresponds to the Ming Dynasty Imperial Horse Supervisor, is responsible for raising horses. And these horses are war horses, which are related to war and belong to the military, so the person in charge of the imperial horse supervisor also belongs to the military generals, and Wuqu Xingjun is in charge.
However, the Wen Immortals are also immortals after all, they can't fight, but they can have mana and magic weapons. Therefore, although Lao Jun is not good at melee combat and will be thrown down by Wukong, he has mana and can resurrect the Golden Horn King and the Silver Horn King, as well as magic weapons such as the Jade Pure Bottle, the Fake Gold Rope, and the Banana Fan.
Sun Wukong's melee combat ability can be said to be invincible, and his speed is also fast, so he can defeat the twenty-eight stars in the sky, the nine stars, and the four heavenly kings.
The Jade Emperor also knew Sun Wukong's strength, so when he encircled and suppressed Huaguo Mountain, he dispatched a huge lineup of immortals.
The Jade Emperor was annoyed. That is, the four heavenly kings, in cooperation with Li Tianwang and Prince Nezha, point to the twenty-eight houses, the nine Yao Xingguan, the twelve yuanchen, the five directions to reveal the truth, the four values of Gong Cao, the east and west star dou, the north and south two gods, the five mountains and the four desecrations, and the universal stars, a total of 100,000 heavenly soldiers set up 18 heavenly nets in the lower realm, go to Huaguo Mountain to besiege, and will capture and deal with it.
In the end, it was Erlang God who drew Sun Wukong, and Lao Jun attacked and captured Sun Wukong alive.
It can be said that the immortals who can defeat Sun Wukong are all using great magic weapons. Including the Buddha turning the five fingers into the Five Elements Mountain, it can also be regarded as a magic weapon.
From this point of view, it is impossible for the Heavenly Court Immortals to release water on Sun Wukong, they just can't beat it. The immortals collectively released water to Sun Wukong, which is not in line with the actual situation at all.
After all, they have no friendship with Sun Wukong, so why bother releasing water? Besides, the Jade Emperor has been practicing for more than 200 million years, doesn't he know the strength of each immortal? If the immortals collectively release water, can't the Jade Emperor see it? Is it really stupid and sweet to be the Jade Emperor? Or is it that the immortals of the heavenly court were dissatisfied with the Jade Emperor, so they deliberately released water to Sun Wukong?
From the perspective of the author's intention, the first seven episodes of Journey to the West were all written about Sun Wukong, which can be regarded as Sun Wukong's personal biography. This part is mainly used to highlight Sun Wukong's unyielding, brave and invincible, and also pave the way for the future (on the way to learn the scriptures, there are many demons, and you must find a master to protect Tang Seng).
In this case, isn't it normal to write that Sun Wukong is brave and invincible, and he fights all over the invincible opponents of the gods?
Many readers are influenced by film and television dramas and think that "on the way to learn scriptures in the west, any monster can defeat Sun Wukong". This view is not objective in the first place.
If you read the original book carefully, you will find that although Wukong has suffered more than one defeat later, in terms of pure martial arts, he really has never lost; Even if you lose or lose, you will still be attacked by magic weapons (such as the Samadhi True Fire of the Red Child, the Golden Cymbal of the Yellow Eyebrow Monster, the Human Seed Bag, the poison of the Scorpion Essence, the Golden Light Array of the Centipede Essence, etc.). These are not contradictory to the previous setting of "Sun Wukong fights all over the invincible hands of the gods".
Part 2: Whether Sun Wukong released water on monsters on the way to learn the scriptures
Since the Heavenly Court Immortal did not release water on Sun Wukong, it shows that Sun Wukong's strength is indeed very strong. And Sun Wukong is strong, but he has suffered losses and failures many times on the way to learn the scriptures, so there is only one conclusion: Sun Wukong released water on the monsters.
That's right, it can be seen from many aspects that Sun Wukong did not kill the monsters, and sometimes even deliberately let Tang Seng be captured by the monsters.
For example, considering his name, he didn't serve the seven spider spirits in one pot.
The walker said, "If I beat him, I just stir this stick into the pool, and it will be called boiling soup and throwing rats, and all the litters will die." Poor, pitiful! beat him to death, but he lowered the name of Lao Sun. As the saying goes, men don't fight with women, and it's really not good for a man like me to kill these girls. Don't beat him, just give him a last resort, teach him that he can't move his body and can't get out of the water, how much is better. ”
If Sun Wukong didn't consider his name and went down with a stick, all seven spider spirits would inevitably die, and there would not be so many things later.
For the Bull Demon King and his family, Sun Wukong released the water.

It can also be seen that Sun Wukong could have killed the red child. It's just that, considering that he is the son of his sworn eldest brother, Wukong released the water.
For the Bull Demon King's younger brother Ruyi True Immortal, Wukong could have killed him originally.
When the great sage heard this, he made the iron rod hold the hook and said: "You heard Lao Sun say, I was supposed to kill them all, and you didn't break the law; Second, let's see your brother's love for the Bull Demon King. First, I was hooked twice, and I didn't get water. Just came, I was a trick to coax you out to fight, but I went with my junior brother to fetch water. If Lao Sun is willing to take out his ability to beat you, don't say what kind of wishful true immortal you are, even if there are a few more, you will be killed. It is better to be killed than to be released, and spare you to teach you to live for a few years. If there is a person who draws water later, do not extort him. ”
Here, Sun Wukong has made it clear enough. Moreover, Ruyi Zhenxian occupies the Birthborn Spring of his daughter's country and collects protection money, which is actually a crime, but Sun Wukong still said that he didn't break the law, he just found an excuse to spare him.
Later, Ruyi Zhenxian didn't know what to do, and went to attack Sun Wukong again. However, Wukong still spared him, but only broke his weapon and did not kill him.
For the Iron Fan Princess, Sun Wukong also obviously released water for the first time. But he fought to the bottom of the heart, and he didn't realize that the sun was falling in the west. ”

Sometimes, Wukong can obviously solve the problem, but he still deliberately makes Tang Seng suffer, because he knows that Tang Seng is destined to suffer. For example, he was wronged by the Kou family, Tang Seng and his apprentices were imprisoned, and Wukong could have appeared to scare officials, but he waited all night to do so.

If Goku encounters a youkai and uses a killing move, I'm afraid no youkai can stop it. Especially the technique of the outer body, every Wukong is the same as his deity, and his strength is superimposed, which is too terrifying. In that case, it will not be the ordeal of Tang Seng, but the ordeal of monsters.
