Recently, Zhang Fengni was interviewed by the media, she bluntly said that she read the script three times in order to study the role before filming, saying that she chose to take over the filming because the role was very challenging, and she had done enough work, but she was humble and said that she had not done her best, and hoped that the audience could give her some opinions after watching it.
Zhang Fengni continued to say that when she first started reading the script, the first two times she read the story to understand the difference between the first part, the middle part and the ending of the character, and then wrote down what to do in each scene, trying not to be so hateful.
In addition, Zhang Fengni also recalled that she was in a very bad state when she first joined the crew, and many scenes were not particularly in the play, but fortunately, it was not the main event, it was the opponent Luo Ziyi who kept taking her into the play.
Zhang Fengni said: The most memorable scene is when I took him (Luo Ziyi) to worship my deceased parents, that scene was mainly for me to say dialogue, and his reaction to me was to start with red eyes and tears, and then grabbed my hand, which gave me a lot of plays, and I also reacted with him, and when he called me Grandma, my tears flowed out.
Zhang Fengni pointed out that after the filming of this scene, she felt that the whole person was enlightened, and she became much more at ease, and she was very involved in the subsequent scenes, because Luo Ziyi could bring her into the play.
The 57-year-old won the Most Popular Award at Miss Hong Kong in 1987, and then won the Miss Photogenic Award on behalf of Hong Kong at Miss International.
Subsequently, Zhang Fengni successfully signed a contract with TVB for development, and has performed many classic Hong Kong dramas, such as "He is from the rivers and lakes", "Heaven and Earth Boy", "Dinner with the Song Family" and so on.
And Zhang Fengni met Malaysian wealthy businessman Fu Yangfeng in 1996 when she was filming a drama in Malaysia, and the two chose to get married the next year, after which Zhang Fengni faded out of the entertainment industry and settled in Malaysia, gave birth to 3 daughters for her husband, and occasionally returned to Hong Kong to party with old friends.
As for why she chose to make a comeback after 26 years, Zhang Fengni pointed out that it was all due to the invitation of director Liang Jiashu, and the main scene was in Kuala Lumpur, so she also decided to have a good time. After the plot was broadcast, many fans praised Zhang Fengni for having no traces of age, even though she was 57 years old, her appearance and figure remained very good.
