For the first time, the performance area setting of "one main and two subordinate" and the two-way marching performance mode were adopted, with the main float as the stage background, breaking through the conventional parade route layout and single-point performance mode, so that there were surprises everywhere and wonderful everywhere, and the joyful atmosphere permeated the entire lakeside pedestrian street, and thus extended and expanded, attracting many citizens and tourists to stop and watch.

For the first time, elements of traditional Chinese culture, intangible heritage culture, immersive drama and other elements are combined with animation cross-border, breaking the dimensional barriers, interpreting special programs with animation characteristics or national style elements, interpreting the perfect collision and integration of Hangzhou's historical and cultural city and the "animation capital", showing Hangzhou's inclusive, open and innovative city concept, and allowing the audience and friends to go to a cultural collision through time and space.

The 150 participants in this parade were selected through the "Animation for All" event held in April this year. Many animation lovers signed up to participate through the official website of the Animation Festival, Weibo, Douyin and other platforms, and finally produced three groups of programs: team group, special audience group, and parent-child group, which enhanced the participation of the whole people, realized the warm-up in advance, and expanded the coverage, which fully reflected the purpose of the China International Animation Festival "a grand event of animation and a festival for the people".
Under the guidance of the dragon swimming team based on the "Aolongyu Lantern", international friends from five continents wearing national style costumes and other 200 animation lovers danced together with the music, bringing the parade atmosphere to a climax.
