Shijingshan Jin'anqiao Junction is an important transportation interchange node in the western urban area, involving three subways, BRT bus rapid transit and several regular bus lines. In order to effectively improve the traffic efficiency of the bridge area, a new "mouth-shaped" four-way pedestrian overpass will be built at the Jin'anqiao intersection to realize the separation of people and vehicles. After completion, the one-way pedestrian crossing time will be shortened from the current seven minutes to two and a half minutes.

Jin'an Bridge is one of the busiest traffic nodes in Shijingshan District, undertaking the traffic transfer of Fushi Expressway, Jinding West Street and North Xin'an Road, and there are three subways, bus rapid transit and 37 ordinary buses in the surrounding area. At present, pedestrians can only cross the street by the ground zebra crossing, and people and vehicles are intertwined. The new "mouth-shaped" pedestrian overpass will effectively improve the organization of existing traffic.
Fu Jia, Municipal Engineering Section of Shijingshan District City Management Committee, said that after the completion of the Jin'an Bridge pedestrian overpass, it will greatly improve the efficiency of pedestrian crossing, and the one-way crossing time will be shortened from the past 7 minutes to about 2 and a half minutes, basically realizing the separation of people and vehicles, and reducing the hidden danger of traffic accidents at the intersection. The three-story traffic transfer of the Fushi Road viaduct, the BRT bus rapid bus station, the ground bus station and the Jin'anqiao subway station has been coordinated and improved, and the transfer efficiency of public transportation in Jin'anqiao District has been improved.

The new flyover connects the existing municipal facilities in the four directions of Jin'an Bridge. Taking into account the needs of special groups such as the elderly, vertical elevators and escalators will also be installed on the overpass to improve the convenience of use. Yu Xin, project leader of Beijing Municipal Group Investment Company, said that the entire pedestrian bridge is connected by four main bridges. The east and west two main bridges cross the auxiliary road of Fushi Road and pass through the elevated Fushi Road under the east and west. The main bridges on the south and north sides span North Xin'an Road and Jinding West Street respectively. A total of 5 vertical elevators and 8 escalators are set up on the whole bridge, which improves the comfort of pedestrians getting on and off the bridge and increases the traffic efficiency. Strive to complete the main structure by the end of this year.

At present, the construction of the flyover has been fully started. In order to avoid the impact on the normal traffic in the current Jin'anqiao area, some structural components will be prefabricated and installed in the on-site enclosure, and the hoisting operation will also be carried out during the off-peak traffic period. Tian Zheng, the project manager of the Municipal No. 4 Project of Beijing Construction Engineering Maintenance Group, said that the pile foundation, bearing platform and other substructures of the West Bridge are currently being constructed at the site, and the elevators and steel structure prefabricated beams are processed and produced in the field, and the on-site installation is planned to be carried out in mid-July. The process of installing the main girder of the steel structure and lowering the steel cage is carried out from 00:00 to 5:00 at night.
It is understood that Jin'anqiao is one of the first batch of comprehensive rail micro-centers approved by the Beijing Municipal Government, and the Jin'anqiao pedestrian overpass will become an important transportation facility of the micro-center after its completion, improving the level of regional transportation services.
