Through the strong leadership of the government, the close cooperation between multiple departments, and the extensive participation of the whole society, a series of targeted interventions have been implemented in Mingshan District, which have effectively reduced the rate of mother-to-child transmission, greatly improved the quality of the population born in Mingshan District, reduced the burden on society and families, effectively promoted family harmony and social stability, and made positive contributions to promoting the development of public health in Mingshan District and improving the ability to prevent and control infectious diseases.
Statistics show that as of April 2024, the rate of mother-to-child transmission of HIV, the reported incidence of congenital syphilis, and the positive rate of hepatitis B surface antigen in children born to pregnant women infected with hepatitis B are all zero. The 28 core indicators for the elimination of mother-to-child transmission have been fully met.
