4. Submission of works
With the school as the unit, each applicant school designates a special person to enter the official "Chengdu Youth Calligraphy and Painting Conference Registration Channel" (https://cdsh.dotway.cn) to submit entries. Among them, students who participated in the "Xinjin District Youth Calligraphy and Painting Competition" are invited to submit their paper works to the school.
5. Activity content
The activity consists of "1 calligraphy and painting competition + 2 selection activities". The calligraphy and painting competition is divided into 3 categories: hard pen calligraphy, soft pen calligraphy, and Chinese painting, and 3 groups of primary school group, junior high school group, and high school (secondary vocational) group. There are no categories and groups in the selection of calligraphy and painting lessons and calligraphy and painting workshops. The event will invite famous calligraphers and painters to form an expert jury, and recommend the best to participate in the city's calligraphy and painting activities.
VI. Entry Requirements
(1) Xinjin District Youth Calligraphy and Painting Competition
1. Contents of the work
Focusing on the theme of the event, calligraphy works (font is not limited) and Chinese painting works (style is not limited) are created in combination with the themes of Chengdu's historical celebrities, poetry culture, Three Kingdoms culture, panda culture, family style and family education, and integrity culture.
2. Specifications of the work
The soft pen calligraphy and Chinese painting entries are created on rice paper (including silk), the size of the rice paper is limited to four feet (138cm high, 69cm wide), six feet (180cm high, 97cm wide) within the whole paper, the size of the hand-scroll works is 35cm in height and 180cm in length, the finished size of the album works does not exceed 40cm in height and width on each page, and the number of pages in the text is 5-12 open (10-24 pages), and non-paper materials are not allowed to be used to create (except for silk).
The hard pen calligraphy entries are not limited to the body of the book, which is a small category of creation, and the specifications are unified as A4 (21cm×29.7cm), and there is no limit to horizontal and vertical.
Participants can download the corresponding template to print and use in the "Download Area" in the "Chengdu Youth Calligraphy and Painting Conference (Calligraphy and Painting Competition)" registration channel. All entries must be signed and stamped.
(2) Selection of calligraphy and painting teaching examples
It focuses on the theoretical knowledge and creative practice of Chinese calligraphy and Chinese painting. There is no restriction on the calligraphy font and Chinese painting style presented in the lesson.
The duration of the lesson is 40 minutes (1 full lesson) and Mandarin must be used throughout the lesson. The video format must be MPG4, the format must be 16:9, and the resolution must be 1920×1080P. The video needs to be synchronized with audio and picture, with prominent characters, clear images, reasonable composition, clear sound, and name bars and commentary subtitles. The title of the video should show the name of the lesson, the teaching focus, the category and category of the competition, etc.
(3) Selection activities of calligraphy and painting workshops
The video must be recorded live within the last 3 months, with subtitles. The video format must be MPG4, the format must be 16:9, and the resolution must be 1920×1080P. The recording duration shall not be longer than 30 minutes and not less than 10 minutes.
When shooting, choose the appropriate angle of the camera, try to show the structure of the workshop space, the process of students' creation and teachers' teaching, the results of the work, etc., with sufficient light and quiet environment, without noise interference or bystanders entering the picture by mistake; The characters are prominent, the images are clear, the composition is reasonable, and the voice is clear. The video title should show key information such as the name of the school and the name of the workshop.

No, each participant can only register 1 entry in 1 category.
2. If I entered an entry last year but did not win an award, can I still use the original work to participate?
No, works that have participated in last year's competition in this event cannot be registered for the competition, and will be directly disqualified once found.
3. What should I do if the same work is submitted by multiple parties?
In the case of multiple declarations for the same work, the relevant applicant shall provide a statement confirming the application subject after negotiation, otherwise the application qualification of the work will be cancelled.
