Recently, the Weng'an Power Supply Bureau of China Southern Power Grid organized personnel to carry out special inspections and channel cleaning of tree barriers and vines around the 10,000-volt Wengyuan line, so as to further unblock the safe operation of the line, effectively prevent the potential safety hazards of power lines caused by the growth of trees in summer, and ensure the safe and stable operation of the power grid and the worry-free use of electricity by residents.
At the site of chopping green, the staff strictly followed the operating procedures, wore a full set of personal protective equipment, set up warning signs, and notified the surrounding residents in advance to ensure that the normal life and travel safety of the masses would not be affected during the operation. In addition, in order to reduce the impact on the surrounding environment, the construction team has adopted a low-noise and pollution-free operation method to achieve green and civilized construction.
Since the beginning of summer, abundant rain and high temperature conditions have provided natural conditions for rapid growth of wild plants such as trees and bamboos. Tree barrier is the primary hidden danger that affects the safe and reliable operation of power supply lines, once it touches the live line, it will become a conductor, and it is easy to have electric shock accidents for people and animals, especially in rainy days, which brings many hidden dangers to the safe operation of power facilities and the safe use of electricity by residents.
In order to completely eliminate the hidden dangers, the Weng'an Power Supply Bureau has completed the line channel cleaning of the 10,000-volt Yinyuan line after many days of efforts, successfully eliminated many potential safety hazards caused by trees close to the line, and further beautified the line environment.
"Now that we see how clean and tidy these lines are, we feel more at ease with our electricity." A local resident said with satisfaction with the clean-up of the line passage.
In the next step, the Weng'an Power Supply Bureau will strictly arrange the line inspection and obstacle removal work through flood control and power protection, peak summer and other activities, continue to strengthen line inspection, and dynamically track the rectification of hidden dangers of trees and bamboos, so as to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power grid in the flood season, midsummer, and high load conditions.
