At present, the National Youth Aesthetic Education Demonstration Exhibition - 2024 "National Aesthetic Education" Youth National Chorus Exhibition and Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as the "Exhibition and Performance Activities") has kicked off.
In order to provide rich and diverse music materials for young music lovers, guide young people to feel the charm of national music, and inherit and carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese music culture, the Art Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Central Chinese Orchestra, and the Chinese Cultural Center Association jointly recommend 100 classic folk songs and outstanding youth music works covering different regions and styles, and at the same time serve as the designated repertoire for exhibition and performance activities.
The work originated from the "Children's Heart to the Future - Contemporary Children's Song Creation and Promotion Activity" jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the National Committee of Young Workers in 2022. After a nationwide collection of excellent lyrics, well-known composers composed and created music, and finally launched 12 excellent works, highlighting the spiritual outlook of children in the new era and having a strong atmosphere of the times.
