The Fire Services Bureau held an open day on 12 May to deepen the public's understanding of fire protection work and bring them closer to each other, reflecting the spirit of "Fire Safety, Building and Protecting Together". The event was not only held at the Fire Services Headquarters Sai Van Lake Action Station, but also extended to the nearby Sai Van Lake Plaza.
The Open Day was enthusiastically and actively attended by the public, with about 7,800 visitors attending the event.
The programme included a variety of programmes, including firefighting experience, allowing the public to experience the daily work of firefighting and the basic skills of rescue.
There will also be a number of game booths at the open day to introduce firefighting work in a fun and interesting way.
During the event, there was a simulated drill to allow the public to see the heroic posture of the firefighters at close range.
The Open Day provided a platform for the public to interact with the Fire Services Bureau, deepen their understanding of fire service work, rescue vehicles and equipment, and absorb a lot of fire safety knowledge.
