On May 16, on the occasion of the 34th National Day for the Disabled, the Pu'an County Health Bureau, the County Disabled Persons' Federation, and the County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine jointly launched the 2024 Disabled Persons Day free clinic activity in Huimin Community, Nanhu Street, and the convenient and heart-warming medical services made the community feel happy.
At the event site, there was an endless stream of people who came to the free clinic. More than 10 experts from the acupuncture department, rehabilitation department, surgery, traditional Chinese medicine characteristic outpatient clinic and other departments of Pu'an County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine patiently and meticulously checked the pulse of everyone, and used easy-to-understand language to preach disability prevention, science and technology disability assistance and rehabilitation knowledge, and patiently answered on-site consultations. Warm, meticulous and considerate service has been well received by the community.
"The doctor came to give us a free doctor, and his attitude was very good, and he gave me medicine if I had a bad stomach." Wang Jinyan, a resident of Huimin Community in Pu'an County, said.
The development of the activity provides convenient and effective medical services for the community and the disabled, helps them detect and prevent their potential health problems in a timely manner, and also improves the awareness of the masses to help the disabled, and creates a strong atmosphere of national assistance and assistance for the disabled.
"In the future, we will adhere to the 'patient-centered' service concept and contribute more to the health care cause of Pu'an County." Huang Xiangxiang, deputy director of the rehabilitation department of Pu'an County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, said.

More than 180 people were served on site and more than 300 brochures were distributed. More than 10 kinds of medicines, including common cold medicines, cough medicines, and antihypertensive drugs, were distributed, worth more than 6,000 yuan.
