A few days ago, Tianshan Road Street, together with Tianshan Fire and Rescue Station of Changning District and Shanghai Changning Palm Star Children's Rehabilitation Service Center, carried out the theme activity of "Small Hands Holding Big Hands, Exploring the World of Firefighting", so that the "children of the stars" in the jurisdiction can walk into the fire station and immerse themselves in the work and life of fire rescue personnel.
In order to present a friendly, warm and inclusive environment, the fire rescue personnel and the children formed a "one-to-one" partner, and the "big hand in hand" took them to visit and experience in turn.
During the activity, the fire and rescue personnel used simple words to explain the functions of fire trucks, the use of fire-fighting equipment and other fire safety knowledge to the children. In the subsequent interactive experience session, with the help of fire rescue personnel, the children tried to wear firefighting uniforms and helmets to feel the heavy responsibility and honor. Not only that, but under the patient guidance and warm protection of the fire rescue personnel, the children also experienced the correct use of fire extinguishers to extinguish the initial fire. Through learning, they can improve their awareness of fire safety and their ability to deal with sudden fire accidents.
