Enjoyable reading
Books are the best friends of the soul, accompanying us through every moment of growth; Books are the key to wisdom and open up a whole new world for children. In order to create a strong reading atmosphere and guide students to love reading, read good books, and be good at reading, the Chengdong District Education Bureau actively responded to the call for the construction of "Scholarly Campus" and launched the first "Cloud Reading Star" reading selection activity in Chengdong District with the theme of "Scholarly Sharing and Joyful Reading Growth".
The selection activity is divided into three stages: school audition, alliance re-selection, and district finals. After 20 schools audition, 5 league re-selections, and finally 173 works were selected to participate in the district finals. The entries are rich in content and diverse in form. From the curiosity about tiny creatures in "Insects" to the exploration of nature in "Our Earth", students' horizons for exploring the unknown have become broader. interprets a different kind of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" in the "sound" and interesting dubbing; From the affectionate recitation of "I Wish to the Sun" in which children look forward to it, to the parent-child reading of "We Grow Up Together", it shows the good atmosphere of students' reading driving family reading; From the long question of "Why Do Teenagers Study" to the textbook drama of "Reading for the Rise of China", it profoundly embodies the core value of "reading and growing".
During the activity, the students vividly demonstrated the charm of reading with full enthusiasm and unique perspectives. In the end, 74 students or groups stood out among the contestants and won the title of "Cloud Reading Star". They not only share the content of the book, but also connect personal growth and emotional experience with the wisdom of the book. Through reading, we can enhance the inheritance of knowledge, the cultivation of culture, and the continuation of spirit, inject strong positive energy into the new journey and the new era, light up dreams with reading, and achieve the future with reading.
In the next step, the Chengdong District Education Bureau will carry out in-depth reading promotion work, strive to promote the formation of a good atmosphere of advocating reading and conscious reading in the whole district, and build a "scholarly campus" at a high level, so that every teacher and student can understand life and grow through reading.
