May 12 this year is the 16th National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day, with the theme of "Everyone Stresses Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies - Strive to Improve Grassroots Disaster Prevention and Risk Avoidance Capabilities". Closely following the theme of this year's National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day, the Experimental Kindergarten of Jiangsu Hai'an High-tech Zone organized and carried out the education activities of the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Publicity Week to create a good atmosphere for all employees to participate in disaster prevention, mitigation and relief, and effectively improve the safety awareness of all teachers and children.
Arrange deployment and refine implementation
In order to effectively enhance the awareness of disaster prevention and mitigation of all faculty and staff, enhance the ability of emergency avoidance, self-rescue and mutual rescue, and further popularize the knowledge and skills of disaster prevention and mitigation, our school carried out the popularization of disaster prevention and mitigation knowledge for faculty and staff on May 13. Lu Xiaoling, deputy director of the kindergarten, gave an overall exposition and training on the importance of this work and normalized education.
Safety education is essential
According to the age characteristics of the children, the teachers of each class carried out disaster prevention and mitigation theme activities through videos, pictures, safety education platforms and other means, so that children can be familiar with and learn various disasters in life, guide children to master the knowledge and skills of self-rescue and mutual rescue in emergencies, and improve children's safety awareness.
Strengthen management and investigate hidden dangers
The kindergarten safety leading group regularly and comprehensively investigates the potential safety hazards of the kindergarten, and each class and department carries out safety self-inspection every day, fills in the daily report of the investigation, and reports the problems in a timely manner and implements rectification. At the same time, the fire protection system has carried out the actions of opening up the "two life channels" and "breaking the window and breaking the net", and carried out risk and hidden danger investigation for the key areas and key parts of the safety of our park.
Actual combat drills and emergency evacuation
As the evacuation alarm sounded, the teachers of each class immediately stopped their activities, adopted the principle of avoiding nearby, and quickly instructed the children to hide under the table with their heads in their hands, curl up as much as possible, and lower the center of gravity of the body.
When the second safety evacuation alarm sounded, the teachers of each class immediately organized the children to evacuate to the open area of the playground in a fast and orderly manner along the designated evacuation route. After evacuating to an open position, each class counted the number of people and reported the situation, and the whole exercise process was orderly.
After the exercise, the commander-in-chief Lu Yuanchang summarized the drill and affirmed that the whole exercise process was urgent but not chaotic, stable and orderly, and achieved the expected goal. Through this exercise, the emergency self-rescue and self-protection ability of all teachers and children was improved.
Disasters are no trivial matter, prevention should be timely, let us work together to achieve "everyone talks about safety, everyone will be emergency", establish risk awareness, master escape skills, and jointly build a solid line of defense against disasters!
