Ganjun Irrigation District has jurisdiction over 17 administrative villages in Ganjun Town, with 4 water pipe stations and 3 water plants, with a total agricultural population of 23,061 and an irrigation area of 133,565 mu. In order to better enhance the capacity of intensive utilization of water resources, the irrigation district has scientifically formulated water supply plans, rationally allocated water resources, and given priority to ensuring agricultural water for key projects in urban areas such as food security and seed production. At the same time, we will optimize and adjust the agricultural structure, reduce the planting area of crops with high water consumption and low efficiency, continue to improve the utilization rate of water resources, and continuously promote the formation of production methods that save and protect water resources, so as to help build a new benchmark for a national water-saving society in the new era.

Wang Haowei, director of the Ganjun Water Conservancy Management Institute in Ganzhou District, said: "Combined with the actual utilization of water resources in the irrigation area, in accordance with the principle of 'total control and quota management', the water volume is broken down to each canal system, village community and water users. Continuously strengthen the supervision of irrigation water, strictly implement the water distribution plan of branch canals, so that the data records are complete, and the counterpart rate reaches more than 95%. In particular, we will strictly manage the indicators of ecological water use, agricultural production and domestic water, and resolutely put an end to the occurrence of water consumption and water overflow. ”

The irrigation area has continuously consolidated the foundation of water conservancy projects, integrated policies to promote projects, concentrated efforts on projects, and made every effort to promote the construction of reservoir projects along the river to speed up and increase efficiency. Normalize the implementation of small-scale farmland water conservancy construction and maintenance projects, focus on completing the maintenance of the main branch canal and the west main trunk canal in the irrigation area, make up for the shortcomings of farmland water conservancy facilities, and provide solid support for the comprehensive production capacity of corn and other important agricultural products in the irrigation area.
