On May 17, 2024, 16 volunteers from the Dongwang Volunteer Service Team of Yunnan Honghe Maitreya Area were divided into two groups to serve, and a group of 5 people normalized the sanitation and cleaning activities of Qinglai Park. The second group of 11 people drove a vehicle to Zhonghepu Village, Xiyi Town, Maitreya City, 16 kilometers away from the city, to help the family of the eldest sister of the difficult household to transplant flue-cured tobacco.
Nowadays, it is the golden period of flue-cured tobacco transplanting, and Sister Yue has no labor at home, so she discussed with the village director and secretary to invite volunteers to help. When they arrived at Sister Yue's house, they immediately entered the flue-cured tobacco transplanting field, took tobacco seedlings, and immediately got busy. They plough the fields, make ridges, drill holes and put seedlings, water and fix the roots, and cover the soil with film...... The process of flue-cured tobacco transplanting was staged in turn in the tobacco field, and the volunteers and Yue's eldest sister and younger brother were busy planting flue-cured tobacco together, and the transplanting work was in full swing.
The volunteers worked together to carefully cultivate a large piece of tobacco seedlings, and Sister Yue was grateful, and thanked the secretary for inviting volunteers to help her.
