In my conversations with him, I found that he has a deep understanding of famous sayings and aphorisms of historical figures, exhortation poems, etc., and often speaks them out to encourage others, which unconsciously plays a subtle role in educating people. He often said: "Qiji can't take ten steps in one jump, and ten horses are reluctant to give up." He knows that perseverance is the ladder to success.
In a lecture arranged by the leaders of the Lixian County Commission for Discipline Inspection, he spoke to the young cadres about the importance of study. He said that the ancients said: "Learning is not a last resort", learning cannot be stopped, and listed the persuasion poems of Yan Zhenqing in the Tang Dynasty and Zhu Xi in the Song Dynasty and Mao Zedong's aspiration poems and couplets. Collecting information is not afraid of difficulties
In order to collect information on the whereabouts of Xiangnong, secretary of the Hebei Provincial Military Commission, who led the "Gaoli Rebellion" in August 1932, after breaking through the siege, Mu Lixin proposed to go to the Party History Research Office of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee to investigate. In order to trace the footprints of the three representatives of the "Seventh National Congress" from Lixian County, the three of us were sent by the Lixian CPPCC to Yan'an by train on October 18, 2020 to collect relevant information about Meng Qingshan, Wang Fengzhai and Li Zhilian when they studied and worked in Yan'an. At that time, Mu Lixin suffered from lumbar disc herniation, which compressed the nerve in his left leg and made it difficult to walk. He insisted on walking to Yangjialing, Phoenix Mountain, Yan'an Revolutionary Memorial Hall and other places to inquire and discuss. Returned to Lixian County and wrote the article "Yan'an Xing", which enriched the content of Lixian revolutionary historical figures.
On April 20, 2024, Mu Lixin and Li Qingfang, a retired teacher from Baoding, went to the cadre retreat center to interview the centenarian Sun Jing (Sun Yuzhang), listen to him tell the story of the Anti-Japanese War, record and record, and obtain valuable information.
On May 2, 2024, Mu Lixin and Xu Jizeng, the former secretary of the party branch of Nanxukou in Lixian County, went to Hangzhou at their own expense to interview Xu Shunian, a 101-year-old veteran of the Anti-Japanese War in Lixian County, who was the guard of Commander-in-Chief Zhu De and the political commissar of the "Wang Hai Brigade" of the Air Force Hero Group to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, so that some real, touching and little-known wonderful stories of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea were recorded.

Because Mu Lixin loves the study of party history, he went on a business trip to buy relevant books at Xinhua Bookstore, and bought "Anthology of the People's Anti-Japanese Struggle in Jizhong", "Memoirs of Lu Zhengcao" and "Memoirs of Cheng Zihua" on the Internet, carefully studied them, and studied party history books such as "Lixian Revolutionary Records" and "History of Hebei of the Communist Party of China". Since May 2020, Lixian primary and secondary school students, party members and cadres, and military veterans have been taught the history of the party (history of the Anti-Japanese War) in Lixian County for patriotism and revolutionary tradition education. Not long ago, the Propaganda Department of the Lixian County Party Committee and the Rong Media Center recorded the program "Words about Lixian", and Mu Lixin talked about the "establishment of the party organization in Lixian County", "Boli riots" and "Gaoli riots" and other party history content, which was widely praised by the society.
Red culture spreads widely
On May 12, 2021, Yanzhao Rural Daily published his article "Red Culture Promotes Clean Government, Consolidating the Foundation and Helping Revitalization".
