From May 8th to 9th, the special art performance, intangible cultural heritage boutique exhibition and the second intangible cultural heritage exhibition and exchange activity of Baijiantan District were successfully held in the theater and art museum of Baijiantan District.
Peng Shouchuang, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor, and Zhou Xiaosan, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the Propaganda Department, attended the event.
In two days, the cast and crew from the Zepu County Art Troupe and the Karamay City Song and Dance Troupe in Kashgar Prefecture brought 14 wonderful programs to the residents of all ethnic groups in Baijiantan District, such as the band performance "Kunlun's Spring", the dance "Chasing the Wind and Chasing the Dream", the song "The Golden Yarkand River", the acrobatic performance "Changing Face", and the original song "Thousands of Miles Dependent" created by the cultural talents of Baijiantan District and performed by singers from the two places. At the Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition, more than 20 unique intangible cultural heritage representative items and cultural products from Karamay City and Zepu County were displayed through the mode of indoor and outdoor interactive exhibitions.
In addition, this event also commended 30 advanced collectives, advanced individuals, advanced pairs and 6 advanced studios of cultural talents in Baijiantan District's "National Unity and Family" and ethnic unity and friendship activities.
The event summarized and reviewed the results of the work over the years in the form of art, built a bridge of communication with culture, and realized the sharing of cultural resources. In the future, we will continue to give full play to the advantages of both sides to jointly promote the prosperity and development of culture and art in the two places, and meet the needs of the people of all ethnic groups in the two places for a better life.
