According to a recent update on the news website of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee, Xu Ying, the new member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee, has been appointed as the head of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee.
According to public information, Xu Ying, female, Han nationality, born in September 1967, from Changzhou, Jiangsu, with a university degree and a bachelor's degree, joined the Communist Party of China in November 1986 and started working in August 1989.
She served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Changzhou Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the Propaganda Department, Deputy Secretary of the Changzhou Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, Deputy Director of the Propaganda Department of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Cyberspace Administration of the Provincial Party Committee, and Secretary of the Yancheng Municipal Party Committee in May 2022.
In January 2023, Xu Ying was elected vice governor of Jiangsu Province, responsible for agriculture and rural areas, rural revitalization, culture, tourism, cultural relics, radio and television, sports, etc., and later became a member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee in May this year.
