Hangzhou Metro Phase 5 is coming? The relevant plan will be issued as soon as the end of this year

According to the document, the planning period of rail transit to be tendered for research is tentatively set at 2026-2031. In March this year, the "Hangzhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission's Work Summary in 2023 and Work Ideas for 2024" released by the Hangzhou Municipal Government website has clearly pointed out that it is necessary to do a good job in the planning and research of the fifth phase of the subway construction in advance to fully support and drive industrial agglomeration and regional development.
If you speculate from the time, the new bidding document is very likely to be the planning of the fifth phase of the Hangzhou Metro.
At the beginning of April this year, the Hangzhou Public Resources Trading Network also issued a tender announcement, in which the "Hangzhou Metro Green Urban Rail Development Action Plan" included the five-phase construction plan of Hangzhou Metro, and pointed out that the plan should be completed by December 2024 and passed the expert review of the owner's organization.
This also means that by the end of this year, everyone may be able to see the plan for the fifth phase of the subway.
The tender document also clarified the planning scope, the main study area is about 150 kilometers, and 7 projects are tentatively considered, including 4 new lines and 3 extension lines.
