Lamborghini Revuelto has added a new custom Sonus faber sound system

author:Famous car appreciation

The Lamborghini Revuelto has now added a new audio system upgrade option, which has been available since the beginning of May, marking the first time that a Sonus faber sound system has been available on a Lamborghini. The company has supplied audio systems to other Italian luxury car brands, including Maserati's Grecale and MC20 and Pagani Huayra.

Of course, the Revuelto's sound system is tailor-made for the supercar of more than 6 million, and there is no word yet on the price. It hasn't even shown up on the official Lamborghini configurator, and if you contact your local Lamborghini dealer, you'll probably be told all about it.

The interior space of the Revuelto is not particularly large, so only seven speakers are needed, and the amplifier designed specifically for speakers has a maximum output of 750W. The speakers are powered by specially designed phase plugs and natural fiber matrix composites developed specifically for supercars, and companies such as Porsche are looking to carbon fiber as an alternative. At the other end of the connection is a full Class D amplifier and a "very powerful" digital signal processor.

Class D amplifiers are very important to greatly reduce distortion. It is made of electrons, and the amplification transistors inside work like electronic switches, producing a pulse train output through pulses. In this way, very little heat is generated inside the transistors because they are always fully on or completely off, unlike linear gain devices. Class D amplifiers like the Sonus faber can be over 90% efficient and have very smooth transitions between electrical signals and sound.

The center speaker is placed directly in front of the passenger, and its design is inspired by Sonus faber's recently launched Homage series of home audio speakers, powered by neodymium magnets. This center speaker has a cone design that provides a full audio range from 100 Hz to 20,000 Hz (the limit of what the human ear can detect).

Behind each passenger were placed two full-range speakers. Each door is equipped with a mid-woofer (30-15000 Hz) and a tweeter (1200-30000 Hz), forming a two-way system. This mid-woofer can move "widely" inside, so you can enjoy bass-rich music without worrying about the impact on sound quality from long periods of full-volume playback, as clarity remains excellent.

The tweeter features an ultra-lightweight NanoSilk dome design to ensure sound precision. Such a sound system configuration may seem a bit "excessive" on a 1,015-horsepower supercar, but given its striking appearance and variety of flashy liveries, it may be just right.
