The "Reconstructive Medical Practitioners" competition brings together a wide range of young surgeons from all over the country to focus on the video speech contest of breast reconstruction surgery, aiming to build an academic platform for young and middle-aged surgeons, improve their concepts, improve their skills, and show their style. The competition is divided into five major regions: eastern, southern, western, northern and medium, and two experts from each region are selected to advance to the final national finals.
The central division invited well-known breast surgery experts from Beijing, Zhejiang, Jilin, Shandong, Shanxi, Henan and other regions to serve as judges, and scored in line with the principles of fairness, justice and openness, and provided the most professional clinical guidance for each contestant.

In the comment session, the judges had an in-depth discussion on the control of the application timing of the "hot and cold weapons" and the advantages of the application of the operation, and the judges said that the operation was simplified, the operation process was simplified, the learning curve was reduced, and the surgical method was easy to promote.
Qiao Jianghua, chief physician of the Breast Department of Henan Provincial Cancer Hospital, reported the surgical video of "Laparoscopic axillary approach NSM + sentinel lymph node biopsy + prosthesis combined with Tiloop mesh first-stage breast reconstruction".
In the comment session, the judges and Dr. Qiao Jianghua fully communicated and exchanged views on the advantages and disadvantages of open and laparoscopic prosthesis reconstruction, the application value of patches, and postoperative care. The judges believe that through a single axillary incision, the three operations of mastectomy, axillary lymph node biopsy and prosthesis implantation can be realized, so that breast cancer surgery can also be scarless or micro-scarred, and the surgeon's skill and excellence will benefit more breast cancer patients.
Liu Zhenzhen, director of the Breast Department of Henan Provincial Cancer Hospital, said that while attaching importance to standardized diagnosis and treatment, the department pays great attention to the quality of life of patients. Over the years, the department has been committed to breast conservation surgery and breast reconstruction surgery, taking the lead in establishing a breast reconstructive ward and setting up a breast reconstruction team of "Daai Yumei", so that female patients in the Central Plains can enjoy the most advanced technology without leaving the province.
A group of young and middle-aged experts represented by Qiao Jianghua and Lv Minhao continue to improve and tackle bottlenecks in laparoscopic reconstructive surgery techniques, and breast cancer surgery can also be done without traces.
In recent years, a number of experts in the department have won the first prize in the National Young and Middle-aged Physicians Breast Cancer Surgery Video Competition, marking that the department's breast reconstruction technology has reached the leading level in China.
