On the evening of May 14, U.S. time, the "Display the Future-QD Night" special event to celebrate the Nobel Prize was held by the SID Beijing Branch and the SID EMQ (Emissive, Micro-LED, & QD) Technical Committee. The event invited Professor Moungi Bawendi, Nobel Laureate in Chemistry, and a number of top experts and scholars to attend, and Sistan Technology was invited to participate in the conference with the latest 0.2-inch monolithic full-color Micro-LED display chip.

Professor Bawendi is known as a pioneer of quantum dot display technology and was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2023 for his outstanding contributions to the discovery and synthesis of quantum dots.

In this QD Night, as the only micro-display track company invited to demonstrate the application of quantum dots, its quantum dot color conversion monolithic full-color display technology has attracted the attention of Professor Bawendi and many experts. Professor Bawendi is very concerned about the application of quantum dots, and discussed with the Sistan team on practical issues such as the combination of quantum dots and Micro-LEDs and how to improve the optical conversion efficiency.

Professor Bawendi expressed his appreciation for the brightness and color presentation of Sistan's products, and affirmed and encouraged the R&D team of Sistan. Since its establishment, Sistan Technology has always adhered to the technical route of single-chip full-color micro-display, and focused on improving light efficiency and gradually optimizing product performance in combination with customer needs to present the advantages of high brightness and wide color gamut.
