Hui'an County launched the Urban Water Conservation Publicity Week
On the occasion of the arrival of the National Urban Water Conservation Publicity Week, in order to consolidate the achievements of the creation of a water-saving society in Hui'an County, further enhance the awareness of water conservation among the whole people, and strengthen the conservation and utilization of water resources, on May 14, the Hui'an County Water Conservation Office, the Hui'an County River Chief Office, the Hui'an County Water Conservancy Bureau and the People's Government of Xiaoqiao Town jointly held the launching ceremony of the Urban Water Conservation Publicity Week of "Promoting Urban Water Conservation and Building a Beautiful City" in the Water Pocket Park of Dongshan Village, Xiaoqiao Town.

At the event site, Yang Yingzhong, director of the county river chief's office and director of the county water conservancy bureau, delivered a speech for the event and said that the in-depth implementation of water-saving actions is an effective measure to promote water resource conservation and green development; Lin Wenlu, the city-level nostalgic river chief and president of the Xiaoqiao Town Old Association, wrote poems on the spot, expressing the gratifying results achieved by Hui'an County in recent years in the comprehensive implementation of the river chief system and water conservancy projects. Subsequently, the leaders and guests at the meeting announced the official launch of the 2024 National Urban Water Conservation Publicity Week in Hui'an County.

Adhering to the principle of diverse forms, extensive and in-depth, and combining points and faces, this publicity activity introduced the current situation of water resources in our county to the masses through the establishment of a water-saving law popularization consultation desk and household publicity, publicized the "Water Conservation Regulations" and water-saving skills and other knowledge, and strived to guide the whole society to form a water-saving production and lifestyle, enhance the people's awareness and participation in water conservation, and create a good atmosphere for water conservation in the whole society.

In the next step, the Hui'an County Water Conservancy Bureau will take this "National Urban Water Conservation Publicity Week" as an opportunity to carry out multi-form water-saving public publicity and education activities, establish and improve a long-term mechanism for water-saving publicity, popularize water-saving knowledge from all angles, and further promote the normalization and institutionalization of water-saving publicity.
