Rural work is complicated, and Chen Guifang will always find time to listen to the demands of the masses and solve their difficulties through household visits and tea talks among town and village cadres.
"As long as we take the affairs of the masses as our own, they will definitely recognize our work." This is the sentence that Chen Guifang says the most in her work. In the face of the masses' visits, he always patiently listened to the reasons for the matter, inquired about the relevant demands in detail, tirelessly explained the law and reasoned, guided and educated, tried his best to appease and alleviate the emotions of the masses, and tried every possible way to find solutions to the problems.
Ms. Huang of Yangbian Village encountered difficulties in applying for the renovation of her house due to historical problems, and Chen Guifang immediately instructed the town and village cadres to learn more about the source of land rights and the evolution of ownership of the homestead plot by consulting historical archives and comparing the surrounding historical pictures, and the problems reflected were successfully resolved. After Ms. Huang got the approval procedures, she said happily: "Mayor Chen has a genuine and wholehearted feeling of serving the people, and I am really grateful to him."
Not long ago, the villagers in the resettlement area of the town reported that due to the problem of historical construction, the resettlement area has not set up a sewage pipe network, and the problem of sewage overflow appears from time to time when the flood season is coming, which brings a lot of inconvenience to the production and life of the surrounding people. Chen Guifang immediately took the town and village cadres, visited the site with the design unit, technical personnel, and construction units many times, and formulated detailed solutions, including pipeline layout, improving sewage treatment capacity, etc., after the joint efforts of many parties, the layout of the sewage pipe network is clear, and the project has been officially launched.
The "promoter" of rural revitalization
In order to comprehensively promote rural revitalization, Chen Guifang led the town and village cadres to deeply study and apply the experience of the "Ten Million Project", and strive to realize the butterfly change of beautiful living environment, rich industrial development, and rural governance and beauty, and create a model of Jingfeng rural revitalization. On the basis of doing a good job in infrastructure construction, he actively explored the new model of village collective economic development of "party building leading, village-enterprise linkage, and group development", and focused on promoting the project construction of rural revitalization pilot villages and cultivation villages in Xitou, Wuqun, and Dunzhong provinces and cities.
In the process of promoting the project, he took the initiative and worked tirelessly, often regardless of holidays, to go deep into the front line of the project to work 26 times, communicate with the construction unit on the construction site, coordinate with relevant departments in the conference room, and solve 12 difficult problems such as land use, permits, and electricity. Under his promotion, four villages with weak financial income were organized to adopt the method of pooling funds and investing in shares, and jointly invested in the Dunzhong Village Comprehensive Cultural Center project to explore a new model of rural common prosperity.
"Waiter" of the enterprise in the jurisdiction
To do practical things and benefit the people's livelihood, Chen Guifang pays attention to being a good "waiter" of the enterprise, not uncalled, on-call, thoughtful service, and doing what he says. Since 2023, it has visited 84 enterprises in the jurisdiction, solved 19 enterprise demands, helped solve the historical problems of real estate registration in Quanzhou Shipyard, completed the acceptance of the mechanical and electrical comprehensive workshop, and supported the shipyard to introduce business entities to revitalize shoreline resources. He took the lead in attracting investment, visiting enterprises, seeking projects, solving problems, and went to Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Xiamen and other places to negotiate and promote the implementation of key investment projects. Through timely follow-up negotiations, door-to-door visits, etc., we can grasp the needs and difficulties of investors at any time, sort out and judge and study countermeasures at the first time, and successfully solve the problems of water supply, power supply, land use and road access for construction projects such as solid building materials, Kangerfu and Quan'an building materials, laying a solid foundation for the development of Jingfeng in the next stage.
The road ahead is long and bright, and the past is also turbulent. In the future, Chen Guifang will continue to maintain full enthusiasm for work, go all out to solve the problems that plague social development and the production and life of the masses, and contribute to the development of Jingfeng's various undertakings.
