Labor is the plow, ploughing the field of dreams. In order to solidly promote labor education, strengthen the concept of labor, promote the spirit of labor, and help students develop good labor habits, the primary school of Gaochun School affiliated to Southern Normal School carried out a series of labor week activities with the theme of "Love Labor Union Life" from May 6 to 12, 2024.

The flag-raising ceremony began

On the morning of May 6, the school held a flag-raising ceremony with the theme of "I Labor, I Am Glorious". Teacher Xu Yiying brought a speech under the national flag to the students, calling on the students to inherit and carry forward the spirit of labor, respect labor, and love labor.

Thematic class conversation labor

On May 6, each class organized a class meeting with the theme of "the most glorious labor", and guided students to establish the concept of the most glorious labor and cultivate the spirit of labor by watching videos and group discussions.

In the labor class, the teachers taught self-service skills and methods, and the children actively mastered labor skills by tidying up their school bags, dressing clothes, tying shoes, etc., and continued to carry out self-service activities at home, so as to experience the joy and success of self-service in participation.

We beautify our campus with action. The classroom is the place where students are most active in school life, and they pick up rags and brooms to clean the classroom. Subsequently, under the leadership of the teacher, the students came to the cafeteria, the corridor, and the lawn to carefully pick up the garbage. Choose the plump beans, the little hands keep dancing, the sweat hangs all over the face, and the joy flies into the sky. After picking broad beans, of course, you have to peel them out and cook them yourself! Delicious beans, each one with the scent of labor!
