From January to April, the postal industry's delivery business volume totaled 56.95 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 21.7%. From January to April, the total volume of express delivery business in the same city reached 4.75 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 22.6%; The cumulative volume of non-local express delivery business was 44.99 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 24.7%; The total volume of international/Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan express delivery business has reached 1.08 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 25.2%.
From January to April, the business income of the postal industry (excluding the direct operating income of the Postal Savings Bank) totaled 526.51 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.3%. Among them, the express delivery business revenue totaled 421.13 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16.9%.
In April, the postal industry's delivery business volume reached 15.22 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 20.4%. Among them, the express delivery business volume completed 13.70 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 22.7%.
In April, the business income of the postal industry reached 132.14 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.9%. Among them, the revenue of express delivery business reached 109.44 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15.7%.
From January to April, the express delivery business volume of the same city, other places, and international/Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan accounted for 9.3%, 88.6% and 2.1% of the total express business volume respectively. Compared with the same period last year, the proportion of intra-city express delivery business decreased by 0.2 percentage points, the proportion of non-local express delivery business increased by 0.2 percentage points, and the proportion of international/Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan business volume was basically the same.
From January to April, the proportion of express business volume in the eastern, central and western regions was 73.0%, 18.5% and 8.5% respectively, and the proportion of business income was 74.7%, 15.0% and 10.3% respectively. Compared with the same period last year, the proportion of express business volume in the eastern region decreased by 2.1 percentage points, and the proportion of express business revenue decreased by 1.2 percentage points, the proportion of express business volume in the central region increased by 1.3 percentage points, and the proportion of express business revenue increased by 0.6 percentage points, and the proportion of express business volume in the western region increased by 0.8 percentage points, and the proportion of express business revenue increased by 0.6 percentage points.
From January to April, the express and parcel service brand concentration index CR8 was 85.0, down 0.1 from January to March.
