In order to create a good atmosphere of diligence and thrift, green and low-carbon, and guide the majority of employees, port and shipping enterprises and seafarers to establish energy-saving awareness and low-carbon concepts, on the afternoon of May 16, the Sheyang Marine Department of Yancheng Maritime Safety Bureau carried out a series of energy-saving publicity week activities.
During the activity, the Sheyang Marine Department of Yancheng Maritime Safety Bureau organized personnel to walk into the port and wharf of Sheyang Port, board the berthing ships, carry out energy-saving knowledge training for port employees and crew members on ships, and guide employees and crews to carry out green and low-carbon practices such as food saving, water saving, electricity saving, green consumption, and green travel, and call on everyone to actively participate in the great cause of "energy conservation and carbon reduction", and jointly play the role of advocates, leaders, and propagandists, so as to promote the formation of a green, low-carbon, simple and moderate lifestyle.
Combined with government affairs, on-site explanations, on-site displays, etc., carry out publicity and exchanges on energy-saving, low-carbon, and zero-carbon transportation related technologies at ports and terminals, publicize energy-saving and carbon-reduction laws, regulations and requirements to port and shipping enterprises and seafarers in the jurisdiction, promote the full use of ship shore power applications, and improve the consciousness and initiative of saving resources and energy and participating in ecological and environmental protection.
