On May 15, in the southern margin of the Junggar Basin, the forward exploration 1 well drilled by the XD90102 team of the Western Drilling Karamay Drilling Company was operating in the third opening stage.
Well Fengtan 1 is a high-risk exploration well that challenges the "difficulty of the world", and the drilling team is located in the valley south of Shihezi urban area in Xinjiang. In early summer, the valley is beautiful, with a wide variety of grasses, wild irises in full bloom, unknown yellow flowers and small pink flowers decorate the valley, and the air is full of the fragrance of wild grasses.
"All kinds of waste, wire guards, and hazardous wastes in the well team have fixed storage sites; After moving, windy and rainy, it is necessary to prevent oil dripping. In Fengtan 1 well, Wang Zhimin, a derrick worker of the XD90102 team, told the author that this well is the best well in the surrounding environment since he worked.
Employees of Fengtan 1 well queue up for work, take a fixed route, do not step on vegetation, and consciously pick up garbage.
The entire well site uses an electric oil substitution project, and there is no roar of diesel engines. According to Huang Lei, a third-level engineer of the material and equipment department of Karamay Drilling Company, in 2024, the company will add 9 electric oil substitution network power lines, and implement electric oil substitution in the southern margin of the Junggar Basin. Industrial electricity has been used in the key scale block Jiqing operation area and Mahu 59 well. Among them, a grid power line in Block 10021 has enabled 7 teams and 9 wells in the block to use electricity, and energy substitution has made the drilling well site quieter, cleaner and greener.
Up to now, the company has implemented 44 drilling teams for energy substitution, including 30 for electricity and 14 for gas and oil; Energy substitution accounted for more than 63.76%, an increase of 20 percentage points year-on-year.
