May 19 is the 34th National Day for the Disabled, in order to help the disabled realize their dreams in the workplace, on May 15, Jiangpu Road Street organized the students of the "Sanyang" organization to carry out simulated career experience.
A total of three positions were arranged for the simulated career experience, namely the docent of the Yangpu Binjiang People's Urban Construction Planning Exhibition Hall, the receptionist of the Sunshine Comprehensive Service Center, and the barista of the Xiudai Cafe. In the process of the experience, the trainees were immersed in it and dutifully did their "own work".
"Changbai 228 Neighborhood is a new village for workers in Shanghai built in the 50s of the last century, and its change reflects a spirit of innovation......" Zhou Yong explained in an orderly manner on the podium of the commentator. Zhou Yong is usually very willing to talk and like to communicate with people, and after learning that there is a position of docent that can be experienced, he immediately signed up to participate. After a simple preparation, he was very confident and achieved good results.
For Zhou Yong's impromptu professional explanation, Miao Linlan, the docent of Yangpu Binjiang People's Urban Construction Planning Exhibition Hall, also spoke highly of him and was willing to give him the opportunity to intern. Miao Linlan said that it is very rare for Zhou Yong to be able to fully express the content in the manuscript and understand the content himself.
The reporter learned from the "Sanyang" institution in Jiangpu Road Street that most of the Sunshine students still like to stay in the "Sanyang" institution to study and work, and have worries and concerns about the work and life of the outside world. Jin Huichao, a student of the sunshine, said that everyone is disabled and generally has low academic qualifications, although her own education is a junior college, but now many positions require a bachelor's degree. Zhang Nan, a social worker for the disabled at the "Sanyang" organization in Jiangpu Road sub-district, said that many students stayed in the Sunshine Base and were reluctant to go out, more for fear of discrimination.
But in fact, the students who have walked out of the "Sanyang" institution are often very happy in life and work. Zhang Jiajie is a sunshine student who came out of the "Sanyang" institution in Jiangpu Road Street and is currently working as a sample receiver in Yangpu District Central Hospital. Whether it is the content of the work, the nature of the work, and even the salary, it is much better than that in the "Sanyang" organization. Zhang Jiajie told reporters that his current job is very stable, and his monthly salary is more than 2,000 yuan more than in the Sunshine Base, and there are also "four golds" here.
This simulated career experience is just to help students "test the waters" before "flying solo", hoping to bring some new career concepts and employment awareness to students. Zhang Nan told reporters that students often don't know much about these positions outside, but only "know a rough idea" and don't know the specific content. Through the form of professional experience, it can help them build confidence and be brave enough to try. "Career experience can be a window for them to understand society and move towards their future lives."
