1. Pan Minqiu is associated with traditional Chinese medicine
Pan Minqiu, who was born in a family of traditional Chinese medicine, developed a great interest in traditional Chinese medicine since he was a child under the influence of his grandfather, and his childhood was also accompanied by a Chinese medicine folk song.
When he was young, when other students were still reciting foreign languages and ancient texts, Pan Minqiu began to study with thick Chinese medicine classics, so he naturally applied for the local Chinese medicine college in college.
After entering the university, Pan Minqiu became more eager for the study of Chinese medicine, so he regarded the medical classics as the foundation of his life in Chinese medicine treatment, and memorized them by heart.
Soon, Pan Minqiu ushered in his first clinical experience, it was a patient bitten by a centipede, before seeking treatment from Pan Minqiu, the patient was injected with some antibiotics under the guidance of Western medicine, but the symptoms of pain, redness and swelling did not get better.
Pan Minqiu listened carefully to the patient's story, and at the same time, through the observation of the affected area, cautiously prescribed some traditional Chinese medicine decoction.
Unexpectedly, after taking these decoctions, the patient's condition gradually improved, and it didn't take long for him to recover.
Pan Minqiu, who tasted the "sweetness" for the first time, sighed at the miracle of Chinese medicine on the one hand, and began to secretly resolve to carry forward Chinese medicine and benefit more patients.
Due to his outstanding performance in his work, Pan Minqiu was also appreciated by the leadership, and was soon promoted to the director of the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and it was during this period that Pan Minqiu met his wife, Li Yueheng, another great woman who made outstanding contributions to Chinese medicine.
Later, the two co-founded the first batch of TCM oncology wards in China, determined to make achievements in TCM to overcome the problem of tumors.
However, the road to scientific research is always full of twists and turns, and Pan Minqiu and his wife also face one obstacle after another.
2. Pan Minqiu's exploration of TCM treatment of tumors
After Pan Minqiu's TCM oncology department was established, very few patients came to seek medical treatment.
On the one hand, it was influenced by the uselessness of traditional Chinese medicine at that time, and people's lack of knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine, and on the other hand, the influence of Western medicine in China was huge.
Therefore, if the mountains and rivers are exhausted, it is difficult for cancer patients to accept TCM treatment.
In order to change the current situation, Pan Minqiu took the initiative to ask the dean for instructions, asking that some patients who had been rejected by Western medicine be admitted to his own department.
However, his actions quickly attracted the ridicule of his peers, thinking that Western medicine has no way to do it, how dare you Pan Minqiu do it?
Pan Minqiu did not give any explanation for this, but secretly worked hard to seek treatment methods in the mainland's traditional Chinese medicine classics, and personally went to all provinces and counties across the country to visit all kinds of famous doctors, just to find a new breakthrough in the treatment of tumors with traditional Chinese medicine.
Years of research and practice finally bore the fruits of victory around 1970.
According to Pan Minqiu's research, the abdominal distension shown by these cancer patients is most likely related to the patient's own spleen.
On this basis, he was the first to put forward the pathogenesis theory of "stasis and deficiency", and also pioneered the treatment concept of "strengthening the spleen and regulating qi, dissolving stasis and softening firmness, clearing heat and detoxifying", which was later called "Pan's rule".
In 1986, Pan Minqiu, who was preparing for the Spring Festival at home, received a distress call from a patient from other places.
This patient was sentenced to "death" by Western medicine because of severe liver necrosis, and seeing that he had no hope for the future, he rekindled new hope after hearing the deeds of Dr. Pan Minqiu.
So with the mentality of giving it a try, his family helped him contact Pan Minqiu, the time was urgent, and Pan Minqiu didn't care about reuniting with his family, so he directly started the reception mode.
After careful observation and analysis, Pan Minqiu prescribed a few cents of traditional Chinese medicine for the patient, but he did not expect the patient to recover miraculously in the end.
In order to thank Pan Minqiu, the patients and their families were ready to thank him solemnly, but Pan Minqiu refused, saying that it was his duty.
One vivid treatment case after another also made Pan Minqiu more determined to treat tumors with traditional Chinese medicine.
In 1994, under the painstaking research of Pan Minqiu, the first good medicine for the treatment of liver cancer in mainland China, "Liver Fule Tablets Chinese Patent Medicine", was born, which also marked a new step in the treatment of tumors by traditional Chinese medicine in mainland China.
3. Summary
Pan Minqiu, who has been working hard in the field of traditional Chinese medicine for decades, enjoys a good reputation in the industry, and has won the titles of "the most beautiful Chinese medicine" and "advanced worker".
