At 8 o'clock on May 12, the X9596 rail-sea intermodal train loaded with polyethylene from the United Arab Emirates, coconut sugar from Sri Lanka, casual shoes from Vietnam and other goods departed from Qinzhou Port East Station and headed for Chongqing Tuanjiecun Station. As of the same day, the container cargo transported by the new western land-sea corridor this year has exceeded 300,000 TEUs, reaching 303,000 TEUs.
The rail-sea intermodal train of the new western land-sea corridor loaded with goods departed from Qinzhou Port East Station. The Port of Qinzhou is the hub of the new land-sea corridor in the western region, where trains, cars and ships are seamlessly connected. In recent years, a large number of goods from the western part of the mainland and ASEAN countries have gathered here, giving new vitality to this ancient Silk Road starting port. Above the giant cargo ship moored at Qinzhou Port, the bridge crane grabs the containers back and forth, and places them on the unmanned intelligent guided vehicle to transport the containers in an orderly manner. The fully automatic intelligent gantry crane of Qinzhou Railway Container Center Station is connected with the automated container terminal of Qinzhou Port to form a complete ecological symbiosis between the railway and the terminal. "This year, the export goods of the new western land-sea channel train are mainly auto parts, motorcycle parts and generator parts produced in Sichuan, Guangxi, Chongqing and other places, and the imported goods are mainly shortening from Indonesia and pulp from Vietnam, and the categories of transported goods have reached 1,143." Huang Jiangnan, director of Qinzhou Port East Station of the Nanning Bureau of the National Railway Nanning Bureau, said. In order to improve the capacity of the train transportation point line, the coastal railway company of the Nanning Bureau of the National Railway has promoted the joint office of the three major ports and roads in Qinzhou, Beihai and Fangchenggang areas to share information such as shipping schedules, berths, goods, and mechanical labor in real time, so as to improve the efficiency and accuracy of loading. At the same time, it will promote the integrated operation of the Qinzhou Railway Container Center Station and the automated terminal of Beibu Gulf Port, jointly incorporate them into customs supervision, reduce port connections, and save transportation costs of more than 100 yuan per container; Promote the implementation of 35-ton wide-body container launching and other rail-sea combined transport projects, reduce the dismantling and packing, container transfer, empty container transfer and other operational links, to achieve "one box to the end", reduce logistics costs. In addition, it will strengthen the docking with shipping enterprises, expand the transportation projects such as sugar, stone and plate launched from Beibu Gulf Port, and expand the "circle of friends" of trains. Up to now, there are 21 rail-sea intermodal trains in the Western Land-Sea New Corridor, covering 152 railway stations in 72 cities in 18 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) in mainland China, and 503 ports in 121 countries and regions around the world.
