On May 14, Liuchang Middle School launched a mock court activity for teenagers, allowing young people to immerse themselves in legal education with case explanations.
Through the method of "scenario simulation + role playing", 18 students played the roles of the presiding judge, judge, prosecutor, defender, bailiff, defendant and other roles to simulate the "trial" of a case of juvenile picking quarrels and provoking trouble.
From the court investigation, court debate to the defendant's final statement, the atmosphere was tense and enthusiastic, presenting a wonderful court duel, so that the students who were watching intuitively understood the process and content of the trial, felt the majesty of the court at zero distance, and truly felt the importance of learning, knowing, understanding and abiding by the law, so as to learn to use legal weapons to protect their own rights and interests.
Li Hongyin, vice principal of Liuchang Middle School, said: "This moot court activity used typical educational cases that happened around young people to explain the law with cases, so that students could receive legal education in a subtle way, experience the sacredness and solemnity of the law, and enhance their awareness of learning, abiding by and using the law."
