On May 14, the hall on the second floor of the Pingluo County Government Affairs Service Center was crowded, and there was an endless stream of people who came to handle the real estate registration certificate and the housing provident fund payment procedures for flexible employees.

In the past, the housing provident fund had to be paid by the employer in accordance with the proportion of the employee's annual salary income, and individuals were not allowed to pay the housing provident fund.

In order to expand the coverage of the housing provident fund system and support new citizens and young people to buy houses and live in peace, Shizuishan City has opened the restrictions on the contribution of flexible employees to the housing provident fund, and launched a series of favorable policies.

Chen Rong, a staff member of the Shizuishan Housing Provident Fund Management Center, said: "All those who are at least 18 years old, men under 55 years old, women under 50 years old, have full civil capacity, and are flexibly employed in the administrative area of Shizuishan City in the form of self-employment, new forms of employment, etc., can contribute to the housing provident fund, and provide the original ID card when opening an account to handle the deposit registration, and the amount of flexible employment shall not be less than 10% of the deposit base, and shall not be higher than 24% of the deposit base. Policies such as card conditions and card quota are the same as those of the unit's employee deposit policy, and are treated equally. ”

With the relaxation of access conditions for housing provident fund contributions, there is no longer any restriction on the conditions of "paying social pension insurance and having a household registration in the city", and at the same time, flexible employment personnel can merge the original account with the new account and transfer it to the employee account of the unit after re-entering the unit. This favorable policy has further broadened the scope of the housing provident fund policy, better helped flexible employees live and work in peace and contentment, and made the development results of the housing provident fund benefit the people more and more fairly. Up to now, Shizuishan City has accumulated 1,194 flexibly employed persons who have paid into the housing provident fund, with a payment fund of 34.3911 million yuan, and a total of 47.579 million yuan of housing provident fund loans have been issued to 185 flexibly employed persons.
