On May 11, Kunming College of Health Professions held a ceremony to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the school, and alumni at all levels, all teachers and students of the school and representatives from all walks of life gathered together to celebrate the 30th birthday of the college.
On the shore of Dianchi Lake, at the foot of the pagoda mountain, Kunwei in midsummer, full of greenery, spring and scenery. Early in the morning of the 11th, the sun was shining, the breeze was cool, and the colorful flags were fluttering, and the campus of Kunming Health Vocational College was filled with a joyful and festive atmosphere. At 9:30, in the sonorous and majestic national anthem, the teachers, students and guests of the whole school sang the "National Anthem of the People's Republic of China" in front of the bright five-star red flag, and the celebration ceremony kicked off.
At the ceremony, Mr. Long Zhengchang, founder and chairman of Kunming Health Vocational College, delivered a welcome speech and shared the difficult development process of the college from scratch, from small to large, from non-academic education to academic education, from renting a school to building a school building, from joint school to independent school, from secondary school to junior college since the establishment of the school in 1993. He introduced that the 30 years of school-running practice of the college has formed the Kunwei spirit with "hard work, pioneering and innovative" as the core and the school-running concept of "giving away a thousand gold, it is better to pass on a skill", and adhered to the school motto of "Mingde and prudent, erudite and helpful", and the college has cultivated more than 140,000 primary medical and health professionals who "learn well, use well, go down and retain" for the society. He said that the college will take the 30th anniversary of the founding of the school as a new starting point, carry forward the past and forge ahead, strive to create a new situation for the development of the college with more enthusiasm, higher morale and more pragmatic style, continuously improve the level of running schools and social service capabilities, actively participate in major livelihood projects such as health poverty alleviation and healthy Yunnan construction, and make new and greater contributions to promoting the development of private education and medical and health undertakings in our province.
After the ceremony, Kunming Health Vocational College also held a variety of celebrations such as academic forums, teaching seminars, cooperation negotiations, symposiums, alumni forums and the 30th anniversary celebration party.
