As a new member of the Belt Conveyor Branch of China Heavy Machinery Industry Association in 2024, Shandong Xiangtong Rubber and Plastic Technology Co., Ltd. appeared at the conference as a new force and a co-organizer of the conference, injecting new strength and youthful vitality into the conference.

It also expounded on the functions of the general association and the branch, new quality productivity, large-scale equipment renewal (transformation), etc., and put forward 7 hopes for the work of the belt conveyor branch.
Listened to the 2023 "Work Report" made by Li Ping, Chairman of the Belt Conveyor Branch, and the "Financial Work Report" made by Yang Jun, Executive Deputy Secretary-General of the Belt Conveyor Branch, and the report on the second meeting of the 11th Council of the Belt Conveyor Branch.
Sun Shanjin, chairman of Shandong Shankuang Machinery Co., Ltd., announced the list of members of the expert committee of the belt conveyor branch and issued letters of appointment to the five experts hired.
At the meeting, they also listened to the work report on "Development and Prospects of the Heavy Machinery Industry" made by Wang Jisheng, vice chairman and secretary general of China Heavy Machinery Industry Association, and the special report on "Research and Application of Key Technologies of Long-distance Intelligent Energy-saving Belt Conveyor System" made by Zhang Yuan, vice chairman of Libo Heavy Industry Technology Co., Ltd., the organizer of the conference.

At the meeting, the delegates first listened to the reports from the heads of the co-organizers. Anti-adhesion steel wire rope core conveyor belt, "super wear-resistant aramid line anti-tear steel wire rope core conveyor belt" and new bucket wheel belt were rated as "domestic advanced" and "international advanced" scientific and technological innovation achievements respectively.
