It is entirely possible that the Chinese swimming team, which is the strongest in history, will change the old pattern of the United States and Australia competing for hegemony in the gold medal list of the Paris Olympics, subvert the theory of white superiority, and occupy the "reserved ground" of Western sports. As a result, European and American countries began to play demons, chasing and confusing the public around the food contamination and misingestion of 23 athletes of the Chinese swimming team, threatening the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) to re-investigate the Chinese team and impose heavy fines.
Originally, the World Anti-Doping Agency and the World Swimming Federation (FINA) had made it clear that the Chinese athletes were not at fault in the food contamination incident in early 2021. But the West has activated its propaganda machine, launched a naked war of public opinion, and unleashed the hegemony of the press of the English-speaking countries. Under the pressure of public opinion, both WADA and FINA were forced to set up an investigation team to reopen an investigation into the Chinese swimming team.
Senator Chris van Hoellen, of the subcommittee responsible for funding WADA, said: "We need answers before we can support future funding. (The U.S. contributes more to the WADA budget than any other country, committing more than $3.6 million this year.) It is clear that the United States is threatening WADA that if you don't obey, you won't pay for what you promised.
In response to the controversy over swimming food contamination in China, U.S. official Rahul Gupta sent a sternly worded letter to WADA, asking its executive board to convene an emergency meeting within the next 10 days and appoint a truly independent (and understandable: to the satisfaction of the West) commission of inquiry.
"Let me emphasize that I have heard directly from U.S. athletes and their representatives about the extreme concern about this issue when they participate in the Olympic and Paralympic Games and have serious concerns about the fairness of the competition," Gupta wrote in the letter. The U.S. athlete representative is supposed to be the American queen Lilly Kim, who threatens to be unsure of the cleanliness of her Olympic opponents.
Western forces have gone to great lengths to hold Olympic broadcasters and sponsors hostage against Chinese swimming, such as NBC, Visa, Airbnb, Coca-Cola and Intel, but these brands in business have refused to take sides and ignored attempts by the United States to politicize sports.
