On May 13, the 2024 (20th) International Green Building and Building Energy Efficiency Conference and New Technology and Product Expo, and China (Zhengzhou) Construction Industry and Intelligent Construction Expo opened at the Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center at the same time.
Founded in 2005, the International Green Building Conference is the most authoritative international academic conference in the field of green building, and is also an important platform for practicing the development concept of China's green building and showing the development achievements of China's green building.
According to the relevant person in charge of the Organizing Committee of the International Green Building Conference, the theme of this year's conference is "Promoting the high-quality development of green buildings and leading the green and low-carbon transformation of urban and rural construction", which will continue to focus on green building design concepts, energy-saving and emission reduction technologies, innovative applications of building materials and other fields, and deeply discuss cutting-edge topics such as zero-energy buildings, building decarbonization strategies, and photovoltaic energy storage, direct and flexible buildings.
On the same day, the conference attracted thousands of domestic and foreign participants, including more than 10 academicians, about 400 well-known experts and professionals, and more than 300 representatives of domestic and foreign industry pioneers. "Buildings are an important building block in the fight against climate change and reducing our carbon footprint. The Sino-German cooperation has carried out a series of cooperation on a range of different topics, including passive ultra-low energy buildings, eco-cities, etc., and has implemented more than 50 climate-friendly building projects in China, which can reduce the emissions of around 500,000 tons of CO2. The head of the German Energy Agency said that it is necessary to continue to explore new models and opportunities for transnational cooperation, and work together towards a brighter, more sustainable and more peaceful future.

The conference will also hold more than 50 industry frontier thematic forums in parallel, full of dry goods.

In particular, the large-scale prefabricated "building machine" independently developed by China Construction Seventh Bureau integrates automatic pick-and-place, lifting, attitude adjustment, positioning, and joint construction, which greatly shortens the construction time and reduces construction waste.
