In the domestic market, IDC data shows that in the fourth quarter of 2023, the domestic tablet market shipped about 8.17 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 5.7%. Among them, Huawei's market share is 30.8%, ranking first, which is the first time since 2010 that China's quarterly tablet shipments have seen the replacement of the first brand.

Canalys believes that looking ahead, Apple and Huawei will jointly promote the innovation and iteration of tablets in the domestic market. Gan Miao, senior research manager of IDC China, believes that in 2024, the technology trend of China's tablet industry will focus on improving the basic capabilities of system software, using AIGC-based artificial intelligence generation technology, and launching more intelligent system-level combination products.

According to the Canalys report, in 2023, Huawei will ship 3.986 million units in the domestic PC market, with a market share of 10%, ranking third, with a year-on-year increase of 11%. AI has become the driving force behind the bottoming out of the global PC market. IDC predicts that global PC shipments will reach 265 million units in 2024, up 2% year-over-year, with the core driver being the upcoming AI PC.

Canalys data also shows that global PC shipments will total 247 million units in 2023, down 13% year-on-year. Changjiang Securities believes that 2023 will be a bad year for PC shipments in history, and AI is expected to add vitality to PC market sales in 2024. Debang Securities said that more AI PC products are expected to be launched in 2024, thus opening the first year of AI PC and driving users to a new round of replacement from the supply side.

According to Canalys' forecasts, the widespread launch of AI PCs in the second half of 2024 will also drive the market, providing innovative and attractive products for users who have put their purchases on hold. Global AI PC shipments will reach 48 million units in 2024, accounting for 18% of total PC shipments. It is estimated that by 2025, global AI PC shipments will exceed 100 million units, accounting for 40% of total PC shipments.
