The all-new Peugeot 3008 model has been officially launched overseas, and although it will not be introduced in China, the new and avant-garde design is still expected to be shown in the new Peugeot car that will be launched in China, so we might as well have fun first.
In terms of appearance, the new car has undergone a major overhaul in the front face, adopting a new style design, inlaid with 3008 letters of black decorative strips connecting the left and right sides of the flat headlight group, the interior has a sharp daytime running light strip, and led to 3 vertical bar daytime running lights below, which appears more powerful. In the center, there is a unique borderless large-mouth grille, and there is a lion's head in the middle to extend the radial body-colored mesh filling, which seems more integrated. The front bumper is decorated with a huge two-section horizontal banner, which is decorated with the ubiquitous color trim details, and the longitudinal fog lamp area air intake and other elements look quite stylish.
On the side of the body, the new car has changed the structure of the old model and adopted the lines of the fastback coupe, which is obviously more sporty, and the contrasting body will not be absent, the lion head logo under the A-pillar, the large wheels, and the black decoration on the side skirts have all enhanced the avant-garde. Of course, the wheel shape is still a highlight, more abstract or individual, with a strong visual impact. At the rear of the car, the through-type taillights are more stout, the left and right sides have a relief design, the overall tailbox line is somewhat like 408X, the high raised ducktail and the roof spoiler form a double tail wing layout, and the rear bumper part also has a towering black decoration, but the use of glossy materials, it looks more advanced.
In the interior part, the new car adopts a new third-generation so-do cockpit design concept, with a through-type floating large-size LCD screen reaching 21 inches, and standing in an arc on the center console, still replacing the Hud head-up display, reflecting a stronger sense of technology. An additional LCD screen under the air conditioning vents, together with a new two-spoke steering wheel, enhances the stylish attributes. The front area of the armrest box has an asymmetrical exaggerated detail decoration, which enhances the sense of environmental protection and futurism, and the wrap-around center console is covered with a special texture of fabric, as well as a scattered atmosphere light strip, which is still the industry-leading level in terms of fashion value.
Of course, the rear space is the backward level of the industry, which is the main reason why the car is unlikely to be introduced in China. In terms of power, the actual shot is a pure electric version, equipped with a new powertrain, with further improvements, with a low maximum power of 210 horsepower front-mounted single motor, maximum torque of 345 Nm, and more than 300 horsepower front and rear dual motors to form an electronically controlled four-wheel drive system to choose from. Matched with a 73 kWh lithium battery pack, the pure electric range WLTP working condition is 522 kilometers, with a fairly good performance, and the acceleration of 100 kilometers in 8.8 seconds is quite good for Peugeot, which is very worth looking forward to.
