On May 15, Xuzhou District held the 2024 Talent Work Promotion Meeting to arrange the deployment of key talents.
The meeting conveyed and learned the spirit of the provincial and municipal talent-related meetings, and the relevant departments made exchange speeches on the promotion of key talent work.
The meeting required that we should deeply study and comprehend Xi Jinping's new concepts, strategies and measures for talent work in the new era, actively integrate into the pattern of talent development in the province, and conscientiously implement the new deployment and new requirements of the Municipal Party Committee on promoting the work of key talents. It is necessary to improve the position, build consensus, and deeply understand that promoting the work of key talents with high standards and high quality is a political task to implement the decisions and arrangements of the Central Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, the Municipal Party Committee and the District Party Committee, the need of the times to promote the integrated development of urban and rural areas and realize modernization, and the inevitable requirement to accelerate the construction of the top 100 districts in the country. With the goal of building a central area for innovative talents in southern Sichuan, we should systematically plan the talent work in the new era, accurately grasp the key tasks of talent work, adhere to the improvement of the "1+N" talent policy system as the traction, continue to deepen the reform of the talent development system and mechanism, and continuously strengthen the talent support for modernization with the focus on building a solid fulcrum for talent development, accelerate the cultivation and formation of new quality productivity with the implementation of the innovation-driven development strategy as the focus, and make every effort to improve the talent service guarantee with the goal of cultivating the talent ecology of "those who are near and those who are far away".

Qin Chao, member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and Minister of the Organization Department, attended the meeting and delivered a speech, and the main persons in charge and business backbones of 31 district-level departments and 17 townships (streets) in the region attended the meeting.
