On May 14, Yan's hometown organized cadres of organs, key militias, police officers from police stations, medical staff of health centers, teachers and students of Yanjia Middle School and some people to carry out flood control, earthquake prevention and geological disaster emergency rescue drills in Yanjia Village and Yanjia Middle School.
The township emergency drill command headquarters received the early warning of the danger, reported to the township emergency commander in a timely manner, and the commander-in-chief immediately started the emergency plan, convened the emergency rescue working group to quickly rescue the people in danger, and the whole process of the drill was tense and orderly, interlocking, and achieved the expected results.
During the exercise, in accordance with the principle of "unified command, scientific scheduling, division of labor and responsibility, and linkage between the top and bottom", each emergency rescue team performed its own duties and carried out emergency rescue work in an orderly manner in accordance with the requirements of the emergency plan. Within the specified time, emergency response measures such as inspection, early warning, relocation and resettlement of disaster victims, medical treatment, river rescue, order maintenance, and material support were completed.
Through the exercise, the practicability and operability of emergency plans such as flood prevention and disaster reduction were effectively tested, the ability to deal with floods, earthquakes and geological disasters was improved, the awareness of disaster prevention and self-rescue among the masses and primary and secondary school students was effectively enhanced, and the safety line of defense during the flood season was effectively built to ensure the safety of people's lives and property to the greatest extent.
