Recently, the Nanxian County Market Supervision and Administration Bureau has carried out publicity activities on the prevention of wild mushroom poisoning in primary and secondary schools.
In Ximahu School, the staff of the County Market Supervision Bureau showed the students the types and characteristics of wild mushrooms and the identification methods of common poisonous mushrooms by setting up publicity display boards and on-site analysis of typical cases, and warned everyone not to pick, buy, or eat wild mushrooms.
"Through this visit, I learned that wild poisonous mushrooms are dangerous, and we must not pick, sell, or eat them to protect our health." Tan Zhiqian, a student at Ximahu School, said.
In the next step, Nanxian County will carry out publicity activities such as entering communities, village groups, schools, forest farms, scenic spots, markets, and restaurants in combination with the actual situation, and publicize to the masses the knowledge of not picking, eating, buying, and selling wild mushrooms, eating wild vegetables carefully, and not blindly believing in Chinese medicinal materials to soak in wine and maintain health, and strive to eliminate the occurrence of food safety accidents caused by eating wild mushrooms by mistake.
