In order to further improve the discipline development system of the hospital and improve the level of medical services of the whole hospital, on the afternoon of May 14, the Department of Clinical Nutrition of the First People's Hospital of Pingjiang County was officially opened and the opening ceremony was held.
Professor Liu Shiping, Director of Hunan Provincial Clinical Nutrition Quality Control Center and Director of the Nutrition Department of the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, was invited to attend and deliver a speech. Pi Yangde, Secretary of the Party Committee, Zeng Sixian, Dean, Chen Qian, Vice President, Li Chunhai, member of the hospital committee, heads of relevant functional departments, and medical representatives of the Department of Clinical Nutrition attended the opening ceremony. In his speech, Director Liu Shiping affirmed the current software and hardware situation of the Clinical Nutrition Department of the First People's Hospital of Pingjiang County, and pointed out that the current clinical support for the Department of Nutrition has a great demand. It is also proposed that the First People's Hospital of Pingjiang County should pay attention to the establishment of a standardized process based on "nutritional screening-evaluation-diagnosis-treatment".

Introduction to the Department of Clinical Nutrition
The Department of Clinical Nutrition is located on the fifth floor of the second inpatient building, and the outpatient department of the Department of Nutrition is located on the fourth floor of the outpatient department.
The department has a chief physician, a registered dietitian, an attending physician and a nutritional technician.
1. Nutritional guidance for inpatients
Responsible for the dietary and nutritional guidance of all patients in the First People's Hospital of Pingjiang County, such as diabetes, hyperlipidemia, gout, hyperthyroidism, chronic liver disease, kidney disease, digestive tract disease, tumor, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, nutrition consultation of inpatients, participation in multidisciplinary joint diagnosis and treatment, discussion of difficult cases, and reasonable nutritional support programs according to patients' diseases, conditions, nutritional status and dietary habits.
