On May 15, Lushui City held the launching ceremony of the Civil Code Publicity Month and the series of legal popularization activities to optimize the business environment under the rule of law in the Unity Community of Liuku Street, marking the official opening of the 2024 Lushui Civil Code Rule of Law Publicity and Cultural Feast.
Chu Fanglan, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the Propaganda Department of the Municipal Party Committee, attended the launching ceremony and announced the official launch of the event.
At the event site, the member units participating in the legal popularization publicity performed their duties, distributed publicity materials to the community, and answered legal issues of concern to the people on the spot.
As the general outline of the civil law of the mainland, the Civil Code is the basic norm and basic legislation of the current civil law in the mainland. Carrying out the Civil Code Publicity Month is one of the important ways for the Civil Code to reach thousands of households.
The event distributed a total of more than 600 copies of legal publicity brochures such as regulations on optimizing the business environment, social insurance policies, tax knowledge, and work-related injury treatment calculation policies.
