On May 14, the Jialing River Bridge in the double-track Guanyinxia of the Yuwu Expressway in Beibei District, Chongqing City, was paved with asphalt.
At present, the core projects such as roadbed, bridges and tunnels of the Chongqing Yuwu Expressway double-track project have been basically completed, and the construction of road paving, mechanical and electrical traffic safety and other projects is nearing completion, laying the foundation for the completion and opening of traffic as scheduled within the year.
The Chongqing Yuwu Expressway double-track project is an important part of the national highway network G75 Lanzhou-Haikou Expressway, and is also the 21st ray in Chongqing's "Four Rings, 22 Shoots and 60 Links" expressway network. After the project is completed and opened to traffic, it will effectively alleviate the traffic pressure of the existing Chongqing-Wuhan Expressway, and will be of positive significance for promoting the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle and enhancing regional economic development.
