Highlights: Dashiqiao Village in Zhao County was once known as "Phoenix Village" in the Sui Dynasty. After the completion of the Zhaozhou Dashi Bridge (officially known as Zhaozhou Bridge or Anji Bridge), its reputation spread far and wide. According to the archaeological investigation, there are Shang Dynasty ruins in the south of Dashiqiao Village, indicating that this place was inhabited in the Shang Dynasty. Since the Tang Dynasty, Dashiqiao Village has been the key point of water and land transportation, and the streets of the village in the Qing Dynasty are located on the thoroughfare of nine provinces and the main road between the north and south, and it is the commercial distribution center.
Zhaozhou Bridge is located on the Huhe River in the south of Zhao County, Shijiazhuang City, and is a national key cultural relics protection unit. It was built during the 18th year of Emperor Kaihuang of Sui Dynasty to the period of Daye (598-618 AD), and was designed and built by the famous craftsman Li Chun. Zhaozhou Bridge pioneered the "open shoulder arch" structural form, which is not only stronger than the flat bridge, but also more conducive to drainage, and has extremely high scientific research value. Zhaozhou Bridge is the world's earliest existing single-hole open-shoulder stone arch bridge with the largest single-hole span and the most complete preservation, and is known as "the first bridge in the world".
Zhaozhou Bridge Park is a comprehensive park centered on Zhaozhou Bridge and integrating history, culture, garden and leisure. The gate of the park is facing a large shadow wall with a red glazed tile roof, which is engraved with the construction age of the Zhaozhou Bridge, the design skills and practicality of the bridge. The interior of the park has a rich and diverse garden landscape, with a stacked stone screen, Li Chun stone statue, a moon viewing corridor, a showroom, an exhibition room and other facilities, providing tourists with a good place for leisure and recreation.
Berlin Zen Temple and "the world's first bridge" Zhaozhou Bridge face each other, it was first built in the Han Xian Emperor Jian'an period (196-220 years), the ancient name Guanyin Temple, the Southern Song Dynasty for Yong'an Temple, the Jin Dynasty name Berlin Zen Temple, since the Yuan Dynasty is called Berlin Zen Temple. In the long history, although this ancient temple has risen and fallen several times, it still has incense.
