The Professional Basketball Authors Association tweeted that Curry has been awarded the 2023-24 Magic Johnson Award, which recognizes NBA players who combine excellence on the court, collaboration and grace in dealing with the media and fans. Curry is one of five finalists for the award, based on nominations from PBWA members. The award was established in 2001 and is named after former Los Angeles Lakers star "Magic" Johnson, who has been interactive, thoughtful and amiable with the media throughout his Hall of Fame-level career.
