Fast Technology reported on May 15 that Microsoft pushed KB5037768 cumulative updates for Windows 10 devices through the Windows Update channel, and the version number rose to 19045.4412 after installation.
This update mainly improves the reliability of the taskbar search function, and also encourages users to switch from a local account to a Microsoft account to log in to enhance the user experience of the system.
KB5037768 cumulative update fixes numerous bugs that exist in Windows 10 systems, including the "0x9f DRIVER POWER STATE FAILURE" blue screen of death issue that may occur after a notebook wakes up.
Microsoft says that these updates will be downloaded and installed automatically, but users can also manually go through Settings > Security & Updates, and click on "Check for updates" to start downloading patches.
Another notable change in this update is that if a user is currently using a local account to log in to the system, a new banner will appear in the settings recommending that the user log in with a Microsoft account.
