Sony yesterday announced its financial results for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2023, and as of March 31 this year, the cumulative shipments of PS5 have exceeded 59.3 million units; Since December 31 last year, PS5 console shipments in the quarter were 4.5 million units, a decrease of 1.8 million units from the same period last year; Shipments for the full fiscal year were 20.8 million units, an increase of 1.7 million units from the previous fiscal year.

· PS5 and PS4 software sales totaled 72.6 million units in the quarter, an increase of 4.6 million units compared to the same period last fiscal year. Among them, the sales of first-party games were 12.3 million copies, an increase of 2.8 million copies year-on-year. Digital games accounted for 77% of sales, up 7% year-over-year.
