According to the news recently released by the official WeChat public account of Sichuan Airlines, Sichuan Airlines has announced its international and regional flight plans for June 2024, including 35 international routes and 3 regional routes to Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Among them, Sichuan Airlines' flight from Los Angeles to Chengdu will go through immigration procedures at Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, and the flight will be refueled at Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport. Due to the non-entry airport in Hangzhou, passengers are prohibited from disembarking.

The resumption of flights marks the resumption of direct passenger flights between the two places after four years.

Opened the first direct passenger route from mainland China to Latin America
The reporter learned from China Southern Airlines that the mainland's first direct passenger route to Latin America was officially opened, which was directly from Shenzhen to Mexico City, with a total length of more than 14,000 kilometers, and was the longest direct international passenger route for China's civil aviation.
On the evening of May 11, the maiden flight landed at Mexico City's Benito Juárez International Airport, with a flight time of only 16 hours, significantly shortening the travel time between the two places. The new Mexico City route is operated by China Southern Airlines and operates on Airbus A350s twice a week.
